This week saw the official launch of a new service from Evoluted designed to help you track your website’s position in all the major search engines – SEO Tracking. Whenever we’re doing search engine optimisation work on client sites one of the biggest issues we face is duplicate content page. The canonical tag can help stop this problem and ensure the search engines only see the primary copy of each page.
After a week of downtime I’ve got finally got the site back online on a different domain with a slightly different look. Sometime on Monday the previous site ashyoung.net was taken down by UK2 as the Wordpress install had been hacked. This is partially my fault as I should have updated Wordpress to the latest version.
Previously I’ve been using Ta-da List from 37Signals to keep track of all the various jobs I’ve got to do, either at the office, at home or on the road. I chose Ta-da List as it was incredibly simple, just a list of tasks you could tick off.
